Topkapı Palace is a palace complex located in the Fatih district of Istanbul. This palace, which was the administrative center of the Ottoman Empire for 400 years, is one of the most important parts of Istanbul's historical and cultural heritage. Topkapi Palace was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985.

Topkapi Palace was built by Fatih Sultan Mehmet in 1460. The construction of the palace took more than 20 years. The palace complex covers 700,000 square meters and includes 4 courtyards, more than 300 rooms and 9 large halls. One of the most striking features of Topkapi Palace is its magnificent gardens.
